Deloitte Legal network strengthens legal capabilities with new Singapore law practice—Sabara Law LLC

SINGAPORE, 19 November 2018 — Deloitte Legal is pleased to welcome “Sabara Law LLC”, a new Singapore law practice, to the Deloitte Legal network, which today comprises over 2400 legal professionals in more than 80 countries.

Sabara Law LLC's practice will focus on fields that are adjacent and complementary to Deloitte’s leading international multi-disciplinary teams with deep service capabilities, advising clients in:

• Data Protection, Financial Services Regulatory & Commercial Law
• Mergers & Acquisitions
• Employment Law
• Legal Management Consulting

Sabara Law will also work with Deloitte Legal International Pte. Ltd., a Deloitte Legal foreign law practice in Singapore led by Rashed Idrees that focuses on regional work, to provide effective legal solutions to clients.

Sabara Law LLC's Managing Director is Mr Yeoh Lian Chuan. Lian Chuan is a Singapore-qualified lawyer with over 24 years of experience. Before establishing Sabara Law LLC, he practised with a "magic circle" law firm for more than 8 years, leading its Singapore law corporate regulatory and advisory team. Prior to that, Lian Chuan had been an equity partner at two of Singapore’s large law firms. Lian Chuan has also worked previously at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Lian Chuan said, “My colleagues and I are excited to join the Deloitte Legal network, and to work closely with many other Deloitte professionals. There is great potential to help clients solve a variety of complex challenges where different professionals work together as a team.
